WHAT SHOULD I DO after being introduced by wrong name?

My husband of 16 years introduced me to a friend as his wife but called me his ex wife's name.he and ex were only married 9 years. How should i responde to this?

Just laugh it off and correct him.Then immediately pull him into the coat closet and smack the snot right out of him.Oh man do I feel for this guy,his sex life ended about 3 seconds after that little comment.Remember its for better or for worse,that means even if there is an early onset of Alsheimer disease LOL

You know, if you live with someone for 9 years and call their name everyday, it does tend to form a habit. I was married to my first for 7 years and occasionally slip her name out. It means nothing, only that we are habitual creatures. Just correct him and go on with life.

Be gentle and calm, maybe grab his hand or his arm and give a gentle squeeze and say something like, "bad habit there, my name is...." or just get his attention and let him know he goofed.

Leave and tell him to talk to your lawyer! If you are new friends that is another thing. A married person is a horses butt to be so rude. Tell his friend he needs treatment for mental illness. Call his friends by a handsome ex and say oops.
