What the best place to study TCM as regards Uni

I'm doing my A levels at the mo, and wanted to know were the best palce to go to study TCM, mainly acupuncture . I looked at the London Uni for TCM but it runs its courses on the weekends an iwas looking for one that ran in the week.
If anyoen can help it woud be muchappreciated.

I hope your A levels are going well and you're not getting too much work at the moment!

As for TCM courses at Uni, I'll be completely honest and say I've never looked into them for myself and therefore wouldn't be able to give you any leads on that.However, have you looked at other colleges and schools of TCM who offer degree level courses? I know of LCTA, the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and I'm sure there's another one I've had contact with in the past, so will look out the info for you when I next have a minute.

i have just started a TCM degree at westminster...im loving it!
There are a few things that you shuol keep in mind when you are choosing the course...i did go to check out the LCTA and it looked a very good course but it wasnt for me. First of all it is a private school so you wont get any financial help just a career develpoment loan towards it which only covers the price of the first two years! (we are talking about around £6000 per year!) It would be perfect if you could afford it, you need to work in the meantime (as they condense the course into 2 days) and dont mind being in north london in the middle of nowhere. The tutors really seemed lovely at I think classes are smaller than were i am right now, but i wasnt impressed by the facilities at all. Tiny library and i do mean tiny (my living room is bigger!) and a computer room that consisted of 4 pcs.I was told, though, that they are moving so...it could be much better!
I havent checked Reading out but it is supposed to be very good...it was just too far from me and they never sent me the prospectus (phoned them up 3 times)
It is very useful to go to open days! You'll get a feeling if it is for you! Im really happy where i am, lovely people on my course, very well organized so far and very good facilities. What i like as well is that you have modules in common with other therapies students like herbal medicine, homeopathy and nutrion and it does widen your horizons! I also warn you that it will take most of your time...im struggling with my part-time job (2 days a week) bcos of the load that we already have! and they say that the first year is the easiest!

Thank you both for sending a psot on this thred, i appreciate it alot. I was thinking of going to Lincon Uni, aparantly they have a good TCM degree course going there. Just accupuncture?
