i made an appointment to see a lady at silhouette today. as i rolled through the parking lot i spotted a white crown victoria. on closer inpection is see crappy wheeles and a spot light on the driver's side. i walked.

my question is what would you do in that situation? i know the police visit the italian social club upstairs often to bust up poker games a stuff like that, but come on, would you take the chance?

I you see a cop car move along.... Even if they're upstairs and the see you going in or out of there they are going to want to speak to you. Save yourself the trouble.

i'm glad to hear i'm not paranoid.

it sux, cuz i was really looking forward to my session. it's been a while for me and i needed to unwind. but it's hard to relax when you're worried about the man busting in. even just to harass you.

Here's a story worth telling.........
A few weeks ago I was interested in giving Studio B a try and did the 45 min drive out to visit. When ever I go to a spa for the first time I like to observe the area in order to just "get a feel" for things, but this night I waited longer and boy did it pay off. I sat in the car for about 5 min. Went into the variety store. Sat in the car a little more. Watched another guy walk in. Was just about to go, but what's this I see. LE had parked south of the building and here they come. Straight in. Whew!! Was I ever lucky my instincts kept me out that night.

i did have an appointment, but i didn't cancel it.

as for informing them of the LE pressence, i thought it might be too alarmist to do so. also, i can't seem to do *67 on my cell phone, so if johnny law was standing there i didn't need him copying down my #. i know it's not too likely that would occur, but better safe than sorry.

I have number display turned off on my cell phone, but i can make the number 'available' to CID devices by prefacing my dialed number with *8241655512112. Don't know if it's a binary thing (on/off) or it's something else to turn hide your number if your number shows be default (I'm on bell mobility, btw).

Lots of cell phones now have the option of turning call identify for out going calls off. Some call it call # blocking. Check your manual or just scroll your options. You might have it. My cell phone is set so ALL my out going calls are blocked ALL the time. So every call I make it says Private # on the other end.
