What would YOUR MP look like?

So on the eve of places re-opening, I mentally revisited what an MP that I'd run would look like. It's a fun mental exercise--and since so many actual MP operators share this space with us--perhaps some of our suggestions might actually make it to the real MP world. Here's how I'd go about starting and running an MP....

1. I'd pick an out of the way warehouse. Something preferably in an industrial area, not close to any sensitive businesses, day care's etc., and offering discretion.
2. I'd make the inside of the MP spare, almost clinical in appearance, with the individual rooms perhaps having a touch of comfort and elegance, no need to overdo it
3. Clean is sexy. I'd keep it scrupulously, notoriously, clean. Clean, clean, clean.
4. The girls. I'd emphasize attitude over looks and again emphasize a clean appearance. All body types would be welcome, but I'd look for girls that are truly comfortable with this work and appreciate the opportunity to make serious money.
5. Wardrobe. I'd have the girls dress in a variety of styles and make sure each day one of them would be in a different outfit to appeal to as many tastes as possible. Some guys don't care, but for others, the visuals are the clincher.
6. Quality. I'd devise some kind of discrete system for handling customers that are less than enthusiastic about their experience.
7. Economics. I'd pay the girls as much as possible and keep enough to just run the place and make a small profit, as I believe that is the best long term survival strategy-retaining talent, customers and avoiding resentment.

IMHO, Victoria Elite on Dixie is perfect for these two criteria.

And great showers. This is a big plus for me.

2nd picture in this link is what I’m thinking but replace the tub with a shower where the bottom has small river rocks and pebbles to massage your feet when standing. The shower could offer a steam function to loosen up the muscles before a massage

Good ideas. Hiring top tier is the most important thing for a spa. Looks, attitude, the whole package, and yes they should be well-compensated. Otherwise how would you attract them?

Decor is the second important point. I like Pure's grand and flashy style of decor, it really sets the mood for a great experience.

The last thing for me is drugs. Spas should be a drug-free zone. I know many clients already come in to the Spa high and will disagree with me on this, but I personally don't like any of the MPAs high on anything.

Though I've been to dozens of places in Thailand, none featured classic Thai decor. I honestly don't think it would occur to them to have a place that looks and feels like Jim Thompson house to be used as a massage place...but it would be cool.

In Lisbon (of all places) I was at a place...think it was called wey lang or something like that...where service was lousy, but the trappings were nice, and they did have Thai furnishings, right down to the raised door steps.

The kind of place I envision, I've only seen in Japan. I went to a place in Shinjuku. Would not have got in, (racist against foreigners), but I was taken by a regular customer. I still dream of this place. Though none of the staff was Japanese, they had Vietnemese, Chinese, Thai, Polish and Ukranians, the place was as I described my ideal MP above. Very spare, almost stark lobby with just a small counter and white walls. Then you are led to a lounge where you can choose your attendant. This was the beginning of the fun part. There was a "dress colour" of the day and all the girls would be in say blue, with mini dresses and stockings. Instant hardon for me. It was a specialized place and you could get variations of massage up to and including bodyslide/bj. And these girls were so inventive, fun and feminine. The rooms were elegant and almost cozy...and in Japan it almost goes without saying--super clean.

I would weigh, measure, and take photographs without edits, of all the girls that are hired. Then maybe repeat the process every 3-4 months to account for fluctuations in weight, cup size, etc... I know it wouldn't be a very popular practice, but thats what I would do. This is the most overlooked aspect of running MPs. They spend so much money on renovations and things like that, but that probably accounts for less than 5% of my decision making when deciding where to go. If I see a girl I like and I'm confident her pictures are real - I'm going, if I'm not confident pictures are accurate - I'm not going.

But yeah, I would never open an MP. What a headache that is.

I think I visited that place once, back in 2006 or 7 as I recall. Was surprised to be offered fs so casually, was like I was in a different country.

For the inside, I find the Premiere Spa's are gorgeous/perfect. I'd just make the lobby area a bit bigger. Ideally it would be on the SECOND floor of another legitimate business. Perhaps a gym, where at the back hallway towards the restrooms/changerooms there is an elevator/staircase people could take to the second floor. This way several men walking in/out of the gym wouldn't look far off. Alternatively, it could be on the second floor of a sports bar. The sports bar would be ideal. because if someone is double booked or your appointment is bumped/delayed for various reasons, instead of waiting in your car, or (in the summer heat/winter cold) being forced to sweat/freeze outside, you could grab a drink indoors and give the lower establishment some business.

In terms of location, although I would love the actual downtown core (as that could drum up business much more easily) the ideal location would also have parking. The solution to this is to have it on a major streetcar line, easily accessible from the subway via a short streetcar line. The priority options would be Queen, King or Lakeshore, ideally Lakeshore as the establishment could have tinted windows in the second floor overlooking the lake.

Been there too. There were a couple of good places in Vancouver… can’t recall the names … one was a condo unit with a roster of selected Asian girls. They sat on couches and you had your choice of as many as you wanted.. $80 each per 1/2 hr.

talent is #1 and your right about that! 2 key things about talent for me are RMT quality massage and conversation..
my best times have been with girls I communicate well with, hence, english speaking milfs! 30-45 is good!
as for decor, I need to explore more places but espa in etobicoke I kinda like and the upstairs double bed at sulexa, very comfy!
insulation in the walls / rooms is another thing I would like to see more of as I don't care to hear other guys, mpa's, barking dogs, etc..
and if your going to play music, each room should be able to have their own playlists ffs!
great attendants, cool, stylish decor and great vibes...
