what's a decent good beer for an alcohol newbie?

hello im new to beer having just turned 21 and im wondering what are some good types of beer and flavors id prefer something cheap and not to exspensive but also something with a decent taste i tried miller and its not tasteful for me please write back with a list of beers id prefer beer in a can instead of beer in a bottle but either or will do so please write back i dont wanna get drunk nor do i want to become an alcoholic i just want to enjoy a beer once in a while thanks

I second the Blue Moon and Woodchuck suggestions. Blue Moon is a wheat beer, slightly citrus taste. Woodchuck is getting more to a hard cider, still very delicious. Both are ones you wouldn't want to sit down and get drunk off, but they ARE good tasting.

For my personal choice, MGD in the bottle or Rolling Rock is what i keep in my fridge to drink day to day. Both are a lighter beers, nothing heavy, just good solid beer. I drink at least one beer a day, when I get home from work, it's just habit to grab a beer and go let my dog out.

If you try Blue Moon and like it, I would also suggest Bud Light Golden Wheat and Shocktop.

On the other, darker, heavier side, I prefer Newcastle. But only from the tap, I bought a 6 pack of New Castle bottles but just wasn't the same. Not a huge dark beer fan but godDAMN I love me some new castle.
