What's Going On at Arther?

Ok, There's been threads in the past about this place being closed when in fact it wasn't. I for one kept saying it wasn't in those threads.

I tried calling the other night and got no answer. I went there at about 8:00pm ish and no answer at the buzzer or door. No sounds coming from inside the suite either (usually the radio or TV is playing and people are talking). I tried calling today and said the number (416-667-7007) was "not in service".

Now, I'm not one to jump to conclusions but if anyone has information if they are making enhancements to the spa, on vacation, etc. I'd like to know. The "not in service" message in regards to their phone number is putting other thoughts in my head however.

Anybody have any information?

Have called and got the "out of service" message, have called again and got a answer saying they were open. Maybe thery're on and off right now.

A friend of mine decided to drop one of his business lines. I called him the other day, and got "We're sorry, the number is not in service".

Thinking he'd gone under, I called his cell phone.

Turns out that Bell's technicians have his phone lines still rolling over to that dead line.

This *may* be the problem that Arthur is having.

Here's a little more info before we write this place off.

I didn't get a chance to venture out there last weekend but I called and they were open with new girls on staff. So the fact that they were open last weekend then just 3-4 days later it becomes uncertain is making me post this thread.

If they closed up shop why is the website still up - it has to be paid for to be maintained, and you need cashflow for that. Torontosplaypen is the webmaster and usually posts (on the other board mainly) regarding updates.

I'm not looking for speculation but more reliable information (i.e. the girls/manager saying it's slow and they may have to close up shop).

I actually called last week and a guy with a thick russian accent answered. When a guy answers the phone I always feel its a bad sign.

That guy is almost always there. 9 times of 10 he is the one that answers so it's not a bad sign. He's the larger friendly/jolly Russian Guy who usually works nights.

This is just a personnal thing...I don't care if he's jolly or friendly, I just don't like it when guys answer the phone when I call an MP. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels that way. Most decent Mps have females answering the phone for a reason...it's more inviting.

I have dropped by a few times over the past few weeks and had the same result; no answer at the door. Dropped by on Wednesday night and the same (younger) russian guy answered the door as I remembered from before. There were two girls working. The one I went in with wedged the chair underneath to door and started with the massage so I thought I was in for something great. After an extremely long time massaging my back she told me that my time was up. I guess I should have made a fuss but decided to take the $50 loss and head to IT.

Was pretty pissed but saw Nicole at IT and she made me forget all about it.
