I've been on a super strict, no-carbs-ever-unless-they're-from-low-GI-veggies diet for a few weeks now, and I am losing weight, but not enough for staring at a piece of toast like it's a banana spilt to be worth it. I'm still going to keep the amount of carbs low (Maybe 2 grain servings a day -- A piece of toast at breakfast, some whole grain pasta with dinner, plus no restrictions on the types of fruits and veggies, with the exception of starchy ones.), and keep all of my carbs complex. I'm going to compensate with more exercise than usual, but I'm still worried about "shocking" my body with carbs and gaining. Is there anything more I can do to make sure that doesn't happen?
