What's The Exact Reason Behind The Requested Phone Call From A Payphone In The Area ?

I enjoy visiting independant massage providers but I hate having to go to a payphone in their area and call them. Even then they still sound so worried or paranoid. One lady wouldn't even give me the building address. She said just go to the brown building one block north of where you are.

Now I can understand they might be worried about me being an LE but the payphone thing won't stop them from being busted so it can't be that. I thought it was so they can look out the balcony to see who's coming up but many of them say call from any payphone in the area.

The only thing I could think off is that this confirms your in the area and for them to get ready. Yet it does not explain why they sound so discrete and talk in code instead of saying "come on up, here's my address, your 5 minutes away from having a great time" .

The worst part is a couple of times ( different places ) when I get there after a 15 or 20 minute drive and I get their voice mail and since they refused to give me their address when I called them earlier I'm left either waiting and trying again or leaving frustrated.

The call from the pay phone means only those arriving for a session get the address. It avoinds a knock on the door at some random time.

On the downside, many providers just give the intersection out to anyone who calls, without considering it a booking. Then, it is first come first served. Others get the answering machine like you did.

I, myself, have gotten the answering machine, and then returned to my car to wait 5 minutes, and within that time saw two other guys come up and use the payphone. Both returned to their cars, and both used their cell phones. Go figure.

... check you out... Sometimes (expecially SP Incalls) they will (if possible) pick a location that has a payphone in plain view of the place... this way they can take a took at you before handing out the details of the place.... I used to be friendly with an incall (5 years ago so don't get excited...lol) who used to do this all the time.. She was looking to see if you call anyone else or act strange.. talk to other people in the car... etc...

Not really; there are massage providers that do so as "independents," where things operate differently from the way they do in a "parlour" context.

The "extras" offered by independents are doubtless more along the lines of those offered by escorts, but it still can at least start as a 'massage.'
