When chatting on facebook in the bottom right corner?

why does the window pop up. On another computer is friend sends a message it just blinks on the tool bar. I don't want it popping open, is their a setting i change for that, so it just blinks on the toolbar??

if you're talking to someone and you just shrink it down instead of clicking the x button, it shouldn't pop up. the only time if pops up for me is if the chat box isn't shrunk down at the tool bar already. otherwise, i don't think you can change it. it might just be a glitch or something.
