When should I introduce my characters telekinesis abilities?

I don't want to introduce it from the beggining like I kinda want it to gradually grow. Since i'm publishing this book i'm just wondering if that will make the story confusing/less interesting.

getting bullied by a bunch of jerks, then the character glares at them as they walk away, and they somehow all trip over then she is at a dinner party and someone comes in with the dessert, but drops it, she shouts out and somehow, it lands perfectly on the ground. haha, just an idea

Introduce the telekinesis abilities when it is needed. Like if tries to use them or if people question her about it and she denies but explains(to the reader) that she actually does.
If it's third person you are the one expalining.hope this helps

Have her be in a fire and summon the fire extinguisher from across the hall.

I think around the end of the beginning but before the middle...if that's not confusing to you. I get confusing to understand A LOT of times.

I think not explaining it in the beginning will confuse your reader. It would make a good hook if you just mention it in the first line. For example:

I was ____ yrs old when I first found out I was telekinetic (did I spell it right?)

I was ______ yrs old when I set my dad on fire or something like that.
