Whens the right time to introduce a child to dance?

My little girl will be 14months old soon and she loves to dance i want to get her involved in a dance school nothing to pushy just for fun and mummy and daughter time, what do you think is the right age to do it?

I would think she is a little young for organized dance class's.

I sent mine at 3 once they had the ability to follow dance directions properly but still devolping motor skills.

Its too early for anything other than something like gymbaroo.

its to early for a dance school, try kinder gym or something like that. it will help her co-ordination and you can dance aroud at home together.

I started my daughter in a ballet class when she was two and a half. Anything younger for an organized class, doesn't work. Three may even be better.
My daughter is now nine years old and in very good shape physically. She takes tap, pom, ballet and jazz now.
The place we go to DOES offer mommy and me classes for moms and babies your daughters age though. I think your daughter would be the perfect age for that!
