where are the best places to massage a hamster?

my friend has a hamster that when you massage him , he falls asleep
i have that hamsters son and he is much more active than his dad
and my hamster seems stressed how do i make it fall asleep like that

OMG that is so funny because my pet squirrel gets massages every night! he even lifts his little arm so I can rub under there. He loves getting his back rubbed, head, anything, he comes and puts his head under our hand to make you do it. He is addicted to massages!

Just try srtoking him on the cheeks, behind the ears, or right around his shoulderblades. A slight massaging movement on the shoulderblades seems to be very relaxing for any rodent my hammie liked that.

I find a repeated firm stroking down the rear 60% if there spine in one slow movement with the back of your right index finger is effective.
