Where did the Orient Spa go?

I usually go to this spa/massage to get some very nice massages and some of the the massage ladies there give awesome HJ.

However, I went there yesterday and noticed that they had relocated.

There old location was in Richmond between No. 3 and Garden City, on Lansdowne. It's right behind Bread Garden and beside Tropika.

Does anyone know where they've relocated?

Seeing this post took me back a few years. I could never remember the name of this place, it is where Cherry of BEX, aka Vivian of Kingdom, worked when Iris closed. She had no car at this time and after a session at my hotel I drove her there. It sounds like a therapeutic type of place and I could not imagine her working there, but she did. The reason I remember it is because that day I discovered Tropika, right next to Spa.

They lost thier license for 30 or 90 days for something - sorry I can't remember the details. I just saw the title and read enough to make sure it was not my favorite place near there

Well, I dropped by their old location and the whole entire complex was sold. Tropika, Oriental Spa and I think Bread Garden too..not quite sure.

They posted a sign saying they were relocating to 2525 Arbutus and would open up around mid April. I passed by their new location today and didn't see anything. There's a locked gate, but it doesn't seem like anyone is actually inside.

Does anyone know if they have opened up yet? Their old phone number is not working either. I just hope they didn't take off cuz I bought a package with them and have a lot of sessions left.

2525 Arbutus is on the corner of Broadway. There's an AMP that have been there for the last 15 yrs. But it went downhill for the last 2 years so they must have sold it to Oriental Spa. This is a big place with 5 rooms and have been re-model 2 years ago when the last owner took over.

This probably goes back 3-4 years with Lily, but the first two times I saw her she was not doing FS. Then she said her "boyfriend" convinced her she could make more money that way. Kept me coming back, and I know I was not the only one.

Yeah I noticed they were closed, but I don't know if they are still undergoing rennovation. They said they'd be open mid April, but it's already almost May.

I guess I'll just have to keep popping by to check it out.

I drove by a few weeks ago & saw two asian men carrying these very large expensive looking leather massage tables outside of the building. I don't know if they were carrying them in or out, but they looked new. So maybe they're renovating. I've never been inside, but if they used to have large luxusious leather massage tables inside, then it seems that they were being taken out. If they didn't, then I guess they're upgrading.

The padlocks are always locked on the front gate. When they do open after 2 pm, then the gate is open and the open sign is turned on. They had a hard time competing against BEX which is only 1 block away!

I remember the one room I usually ended up in with Lily was really huge for an AMP. Had a second "sitting room" with a couch, and plenty of room around the massage bed. Had some pretty good times on that couch. A room (with the shower included) like this would rent as a bachelor pad in my area and fetch about 1800-2000/month.

Are you referring to the second location on Hastings? They have advertised that way for years.

I am curious though about the real BEX. It has been really silent in here lately and I was hoping for any kind of an update. I have met some outstanding ladies there, but all have moved on. I am sure most will know who I am talking about.

I agree Mike, we all fondly remember some real gems from Bex and recently there have been no Bex reviews. Go back a year or so and there were almost daily Bex reviews. Swan, JJ's and Prosper seem to get all the good reviews recently (rightfully so imho) and Bex has dropped off the face of the planet. Either there are new gems being kept secret or the last few bad reviews kept everyone away from Bex. The latter is certainly the reason I have not been there for a year or so. I prefer to go somewhere with a reasonable certainty of a great time or on the opposite scale of things go for a TOFTT somewhere completely new like a micro or newly advertised sp. Have fun, as always, on your upcoming visit to our fair city.

Lin at Universal was one of my ATF's. After she retired, I never found the same level of connection with another provider.

I was told by the owner of the Orient Spa , The new place at Abbutus will be
ready in couple weeks , with TV lounge , Spa etc; very similiar to Blue sea type of AMP, I don't know how many girls he is hiring, but he did say no one is
older than 35. BTW Mike the place beside Tropika ( Orient SPA ) was former Universal same owner.

That's what the note on doors at the old location said. I didn't think it was likely that they were going to shut down because this year they actually expanded the Richmond location to add 3 or 4 more rooms, so why they would shut down after expanding so soon would not make sense. I guess rennovations are going to take a while.

The massage girls are about middle aged anywhere from 30-40. They are great masseuses, but not all offer to give off HJs. Some do, some do not. If you want a great massage, decent HJ - go for Helen or Angel. If you want a decent massage, but wicked HJ go for Candy. I don't see any other girls since they don't offer HJs. None do FS nor would you want it with these ladies anyways.

My most fondest memories was with Winnie, this beautiful early 30's Chinese lady. She was also the best masseuse there. I went with her the first two visits I was there. She was great with her hands and is one of the best masseuses I've ever had. Then she had to leave shortly after I bought one of their 10 visit packages. Bah..the good ones always go too fast.
