which bar to go in Tj?

As Nevermore said, most newbies cut their teeth on Adelitas and Chicago Club. They're good places to start and many guys never "move on." After gaining some experience some guys move on to Bar Tropical, Las Chivalas, La Tropa, Hong Kong, Maimi, and their kin.

A few guys after they're comfortable with the language and have a feel for what's dangerous try some of the "dollar a dance" places only locals visit. Also some of the places outside the Zona in the colonias. Many of these chicas don't get asked upstairs often, which makes for some great TLN rates.

Be warned, however, some places (like Rio Verde) are filled with and/or surounded by rateros. Rates for chicas in the smaller and locals bars are better; however, the chicas there are not as "polished" as you find in AB and CC. (Clothes aren't as sexy, less plastic surgery, less knowledgable about make-up, etc. That has pluses and minuses.)

Start with Adelita and Chicago and then go to the other ones around and see which ones you prefer. Make sure to hit Hong Kong (behind Adelita on Callehon Coahuila, NOT Calle Coahuila): pole dancers on the bar, transparent shower, cute girls.

Check out the street girls behind Adelita (Callehon Coahuila) and around (Avenida Constitucion) too. They are a bargain ($20/15mins + $5/room).

Chicago is good. IMHO, Adelitas and Chicago are the only two bars that newbies should look for women, but there are other bars that have shows, women and/or cheaper beer. You should check out the free website tjamigos.com for a lot more info on TJ. Start with the TJ FAQs & Guides forum.
