Which Hotel for FUN in walking Distance?

As Mark17 has said they are the best (Hilton always has a collection of FL's outside from around 9) or you could also try the Portmann on Nanjing Lu which has The long Bar which I have been told has FL. Tong Ren Lu should have been all but closed by then (if it's not already) so FL's will probably be limited to those two although the old ZY bar should be reopen by then as a massage parlour - interested to find out what services are available if it's the same owners. If you are on a cheaper budget then try the Swissotel which is nearby

The bars from Tong Ren Lu are apparently moving to the far end of Julu Lu, some may already be open. It's the opposite end to its junction with Huashan Lu. This will be a taxi ride for you but if I find out the exact location I will put a posting up although my feeling is that hotels around there will be limited and probably quite local

Not sure of your budget, but the Portman, Ritz Carlton is one block from Malones and Tongren Lu bars (Manhattan).... I am not sure if girl friendly or not...

I stay at the Hilton all the time.. it is about 5-10 minute walk to the same area... also behind it is Shanghai Hotel and the spa on Wurlimuci (not spelled correctly)

I am going to shanghai in one month for first time and even I read a lot here already, I am quite confused which Area is best for haveing fun at any time in short walking distance ;-)
Can you guys recommend me any good hotels near by?!

also if there is anyone free around 15-20January, would be great to have some guide ;-)
