Which two cheap, newbie friendly games should I get?

I'm selling my 360 for a much better, cooler PS3! I need two cheap games to buy after I sell my retarded old RROD making crap. I've considered MGS4 with another game, or SOCOM Confrontation(underrated?) Someone help! Help out a converted player!

Another really really really great game I reccomend is Battlefield: Bad Company 2. It's not exactly cheap but its the best game i've ever played.
