A Whitehall massage therapist has been charged with rape after several women reported that he had molested them during their sessions, police said.
William G. Pratt, 54, of Palmetto Court on the Hilltop, is charged with one count of rape, a first-degree felony that is punishable by up to 11 years in prison. He was being held in the Downtown jail after Franklin County Municipal Court Judge Jim O'Grady set bail this morning at $100,000.
Whitehall police said they began investigating on April 8, after several women reported that Pratt had touched them inappropriately during massage sessions. The women said Pratt had rubbed his genitals on their hands and body, and one said he had tried to perform oral sex on her.
Pratt operates My Massage LLC at 5300 E. Main St., Suite 112. He is a licensed massage therapist, police said. They said their investigation is ongoing.
