Who are the regulated authorities and councils for holistic therapies

Just what are the right councils or authorites for all the different types of holistic therapies.

Whilst reading through a lot of different posts I've started to get worrried as so many different ones are mentioned I just do not know who is who and who I should be going too.

Is there a list somewhere on this site that I am missing?

I totally know what you mean, I am also very confused [&:]about who are the right councils/authorities for the different holistic therapies.

I have thought about joining the Complementary Medical Association as this seems to cover many differing therapies, but I am also unsure as to whether to go with more treatment specific associations, although if I were to go down that route it would be very costly etc. However some of the associations that have been recommended are the AAPA for aromatherapy and the International Federation of Reflexologists. I would look at associations that can also help with organising insurance, and ones that recommend schools/colleges etc.
