As for the first one, I hope the team was not only thrown out of the league, all their games posted as forfeits but charged with assault. I know if that happened up here there'd be jail terms in their future.......I know in a LOT of hockey games with questionable hits charges have been laid....(bertuzzi is one example). Did you see one of the coachs go outside and pick up what looked like a length of pipe? Jesus....

This referee has every right to defend himself....usually a player who attacks a referee would result a suspension or expulsion from the league. I know referees are constantly reminded/told to walk away if a violence escalates....regarding the last film, he practicially went after the only player who pushed him previously over an alleged bad call. LOL I am sure the association will dish out some punishment for the referee as well as theplayers involved. Yet, referees are human beings too and sometimes when one of them has a bad day, watch out. lol

Regarding the first film, the whole team attacked the referee and its very disturning that noone came to defend him. I would think the opposition team would step in....but the referee was on his own...terrible.

hence why I think the players and coaches should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. More so in fact because of the gang nature of the attacks. I'd ban em all from ever setting foot on a soccer field again......
