Hi folks
I did a treatment today for a pregnant woman (36 weeks) with gestational diabetes, severe oedema (her feet were bulging around the straps of her sandals) and carpal tunnel syndrome. I was so pleased I'd done the first part of Suzanne Enzer's course so that I had the information to hand for her about her conditions. I also got her to check her blood sugars before we started. The level was 7.1.
I did her a full treatment, starting with a hormone balance, then the standard sequence and finally the lymphatic technique. At the end of the treatment, she slipped into her shoes, and had to tighten them as they were too loose, and on checking her blood sugars again, found that the level had gone down to 4.5!
We all learn that blood sugars drop during a treatment but that was a remarkable change, and I saw it for myself. And that, along with the significant reduction in the oedema had her reeling. She was so pleased and so impressed, it made me feel like I was really doing something worthwhile, just to see first hand how much a simple thing like a reflexology treatment could help someone.
