why wont my boyfriend introduce me to his family?

he says its because his cousins are rude and that they'll probably say something to make me feel bad about myself. now im thinking its bc he thinks im not attractive enough and that they'll give me a hard time about dating me :/

i dont want to ask him, because i dont want him to know how insecure i am.

what do you think?

Could be any of these two...

A) He has another gf his cousins know as his gf and bringing you in may ruin his game.

B) If anything he is scared his guy cousin would be attracted to YOU and scare they may hit on you because they have done that to him or someone else in the family before.

Let your first gut feeling tell you which one sounds more fit to your situation.
I was with someone for 5 years and I didn't meet his cousins till 2 yrs into the relationship. and BOTH reasons were my reasons. The first year he was dating someone else that his cousins were "cool" with and then after breaking up with that girl he was scared his cousins were gonna hit on me because when I met them thats exactly what they did with their eyes stared at me all through out the night and when they got drunk they hitted on me.

there could be several reasons.
1. maybe hes embarassed by something and doesn't want you to see his back round life.
2. maybe he would feel awkward and shy around his family if you are there and his parents, ya know like if his whole family is like "awww (insert name) has a girlfriend how cute!!!"
3. his cousins probably really are annoying assholes and say mean and embarassing things about him and hes probably been in a situation in the past where hes brought a girl to meet them and it just ended up a disaster.
orr 4. hes not ready for you to meet them and maybe hes scared they wont approve of you or he just wants you guys to get more close.

I think you should dump him. If he can't introduce you to his family, whatever the reason is, it's not a good thing.
