Ok, I have a laptop and an old Clear Chat headset from Logitech. The mic doesn't appear to work. Before you answer, please read the entire question.
Facts:
1. It works on my husband's laptop, which is a different brand and had a different os.
2. I am working on Windows XP.
3. It worked in December, as I had to use it for an online class. In December it was this same computer and the same headset.
4. On the manual I looked up online, it asked if the recording device was set up to record from this device, specifically. Well, no, since it doesn't show up anywhere on any of my recording devices.
5.I tried to configure the recording devices, but they don't see anything except RealTek HD Audio Input.
6. There are no updates or software to download from Logitech.
7. Logitech's detection program on their website doesn't work either.
8. The sound is fine.
Lol, no, it is not muted, either by the in line switch or on my recording device.
