Why won't my Muslim BF introduce me to his family?

I love my bf of one year so much but I'm getting fed up with him avoiding the topic of my meeting his family. He told me he's never brought a girlfriend home before but that it would happen by the end of the summer but that time is approaching and nothing. He has said that his mother would want him with a Muslim girl (I'm not) but that he doesn't care. I keep bringing it up with him recently but he just tells me to leave him alone and not stress him out. We're talking about moving in together but this is stopping me from feeling ready for that. I don't want to give up on us but I don't know what to do.

Tell him how u feel about the whole moving in together stuff. But as far as family goes... the only thing tht matters is how he feels about you, you r not in a relationship with his family aswell. If your partners family or friends like you then thts a bonus, not a necessity.
