why would he introduce me to his family then not talk to me again?

i was friends with the kid since I was 13 and he was fifteen. Then, it was just a little crush but we didnt see eachother for 2 years. Once we started talking to eachother again (him 17, me 15) he insisted i go to his cousins birthday party at his house with his family. i couldnt make it but i ended up going to his sisters birthday which he invited me to. I had an amazing time. His family was incredible and i could tell they reallly liked me. I played beer pong with him and his cousins and sister and they all had fun and his older cousins teased me and his sisters boyfriend asked why he never brought mearound and his mother called me beautiful and one of his cousins told me i was the first girl he brought home.

he texted me the next day saying
"sorry i didnt have much to talk about:/" so i said
"its alright i had fun"

then the night after that we had a normal conversation over text but he hasnt texted or called in two weeks.

why is that? what do i do?
