This is probably just a really rotten healing crisis but I thought I'd check with you all anyway.
I saw a client last week who was 16 weeks pregnant. This is her 4th baby (5th pregnancy) and this pregnancy has so far been completely different from all the others. She's been far more tired for a start, which I would put down to already having 3 kids were it not for the fact that all her other symptoms are different too.
Anyways up, following the treatment, which she found extremely relaxing and enjoyable, she was wiped out for 2 days and had to get her mother in law round to look after the kids because she was literally flaked out on the sofa with no energy to do anything.
Any advice for the next treatment from you maternity reflexologists out there, other than the energising spinal stroke? I'm pretty sure it was just a healing crisis. It's just that, although she loved the treatment, she's feeling a bit concerned about her next treatment next week, and whether she'll be able to get a babysitter (or even need one).
I've reassured her that, with continued treatments, these effects should lessen but anything else you can think of would be a great help.
