Even if there were a NHL season, I usually keep up to date by watching the highlights. Hockey or no hockey, it does not affect the number of visits to mps.

NHL hockey and particularly the Leafs has a huge impact on MPs. Major changes in the economy like wesaw after 911 probably has more impact.
