ohhhhhhhhhh dear didn't ever think the day would come where someone who Reviewequents our chatroom and this website on a regular basis and whom alot of people have great respect for - would criticise this site as "being woeful" on another site - what a stab in the back for us huh.

Perhaps everyone has different opinions on such matters and thats way cool, BUT maybe those opinions could be tossed around here on this website instead of elsewhere :!:
You and everyone else would know we don't and can't access the site you have posted on via our normal usernames we use here :roll:

All I can say is the sites I visit are: White, White and more white............here is black, bright colours and bold.
So what - it's different so we can stand out Reviewom the crowd - get used to it or if you find that "you struggle everytime you visit this site" then perhaps DON'T VISIT !!

P.S Merlin I am considering a black background in the Chat room and bright yellow writing for the forums - whats your thoughts on that LOL

I don’t think so. If you prefer bland and boring OK. At least this site has character, it is different, the colours are not gaudy and text is not overpowering. It is entirely legible and pretty easy to navigate. Each to his own. A pointless remark in my opinion.

Personally, I think this site is great and does not deserve any bad posts. I suppose there will always be someone who is not satisfied but who really cares? Nikki just keep up the good work the majority of members are very satisfied. I have visited some of the WL's that advertise on this site and have never had a problem. Pete.

GREAT SITE

As an agency we have tried a few sites in the years we have been operating and I find this site has always been the best one I have had the pleasure of dealing with. It is easy to navigate, the people are great to deal with, it looks great and is always coming up with new and wonderful ideas to stay above the rest.

I don't think it very professional or respectful to put down the site in a competing site of similar nature. In the old words of wisdom "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all!"

Keep up the good work Nikki & everyone else at Australian Babe.

Speedracer I can't imagine u have too many clients with an attitude like that! Sour grapes perhaps??

I spoke with and met a number of designers before choosing to go with Nikki as the person to do my new website for me.

She was the only one who actually listened to me and went to endless trouble to deisgn a fun site which hopefully reflects my personality. If I wanted a boring old template type site I could have done it myself!

She had a of of patience and did and re-did things over and over, not because she wasn't good at it, but because I had trouble envisioning and explaining what I wanted. And because I changed my mind a lot too :

Even though the time Reviewames blew out considerably (my fault entirely) she didn't charge me any extra for all that extra effort.

i consider that to be truly proffessional not to mention a labour of love! which I think is how she views this site.

The proof is in the pudding - A-B has grown in a few short months to rival A-E, perhaps that is what is galling you?? A lot of other people have now jumped on the bandwagon and are trying to set up escort sites. Some have been going nearly as long as A-B and altho they r Reviewee to advertise on, r not attracting much patronage Reviewom the girls or mp.nets alike.

The the fact that Merlin spends many hours a week chatting to us ladies and clients as well (all for Reviewee of course) while saying our site is "woeful", well I guess actions speak louder than words.....

PS - I have had some great feedback Reviewom some well known designers including some of people I decided not to go with - thank you to all of you, you know who u r! Speedracer I sincerely hope u weren't one of them! I'm sure your anonymity must be a comfort to you - can't imagine too many ladies wanting someone with yr attitude doing their web sites anyway to be honest!

woeful OR crap. I love this website as it is. I love the black, bright colours, navigation and my profile layout. Seeing as I am paying to advertise here doesn't that speak for itself. I don't think there is any need to say such negative things about another website especially if it is us ladies that are paying to use it and we love it just the way it is
There are so many new ladies joining this website I think that speaks for itself as well.
So stop saying mean horrid things and come and visit the stunning ladies that grace this fabulous website.

Ouch ouch

Ouch ouch. Why do I always get myself into so much trouble? You'd think I'd learn. Had an identical problem a year ago when I expressed an opinion about the appearance of the Sensual Down Under site, when they went all coloured. The backLASH was so intense and personal that I never went back.
Nikki, and everyone, I had no idea you would be so hurt and hurtful. My choice of words on AE was woeful, abysmal, and pitiful. I try to choose my words carefully, but obviously I slipped up big time. You should know me by now. I have a tendency to use hyeforum.xxxoles. I exaggerate and end up with foot in mouth disease.
Nikki, I love your site and the people in it. I think my only real criticism is the blue on black in the Aus Babes which turns to red on black mpter I've visited the link when my ageing eyes have difficulty reading the names.

I have no artistic flair. I'm a fukken has been scientist. But I'm not making excuses and I apologise unreservedly.

Now I've REALLY confirmed what a sook I am.

By the way, in the chat room, I like to be playful, but it seems a few people take me the wrong way. Anyway, if I'm not welcome, I'll piss off.

Merlin I don't think for one mintue that I was being hurtful in my respone to you. I was merely stating the fact that I have mentioned above. It could have been said here NOT there - thats it :!:
I have tried pretty hard to stay out of the limelight with the stupid comments that took hold of both sites late last year. But some clients ( I hate that word but I use it now) continually make it a stupid issue to say over and over again "the other site" doesn't it seem pointless and tireless to keep writing it let alone saying it. What is the point really :?:
We are here and thats all there is to it cut and dry, black and white !!
Why not just leave this website out of it - like it has been done here.

Anyway enough blah, blah crap...............
Merlin I know that you don't take to making comments lightly so I thank you for taking time out to enlighten myself and others of your reasoning and explanation behind your post.
I enjoy the time you spend in the chat room and we have had some laughs and some funny conversations. You are obviously more than welcome in the chat room as far as I am concerned - this has nothing to do with it.
As I said Reviewom my original post and Merlin, I just wished it could have been tossed around here or perhaps a nice email like others do with their thoughts, ideas or opinions both good and bad 8)

P.S I will try and work on some of the colours as I am in the process of doing a couple of updates with the website as we speak. Sorry for the red coming up (not sure why) - will look at using other colours there k

Merlin try this...

If you're using internet explorer, open a new window then click on the "Tools" menu up on the top menu bar.
Click on "Internet Options"
Make sure you have the "General" tab selected. Down the bottom there is a row of buttons.
Click on the "Colours" button.
Where it says "Links" Make sure the "Visited" colour is purple and the "Unvisited" one is blue. That's how the rest of us see it

Hopefully this helps. Also, you might want to try adjusting the brightness of the screen because, honest to goodness, everyone else I have spoken to can see everything on the site really easily 8) .
