A Cumberland County woman was charged Wednesday with prostitution after allegedly offering sex in exchange for money at a massage business in West Manchester Township.
Shunzi Zhang, 47, of Upper Allen Township, was released on $10,000 unsecured bail after her arraignment Wednesday.
According to the arrest affidavit:
Police received a report in September from someone who had been to a massage business in the 1900 block of Carlisle Road.
The person contacted police because she believed prostitution was taking place at the business. She reported that the business was being run by two younger females, a number of male customers arrived and that she heard "the sound of people having sex in adjacent rooms."

Police said the business had recently opened as a therapeutic massage/spa business and that documents filed with the township's zoning department listed Zhang had applied for a certificate of use and occupancy on June 26, 2017.
In September, an undercover police officer went to the business and was shown to a room. Zhang was giving him a massage and "offered sex acts to the undercover police officer in exchange for the money he paid for the session."
About two weeks later, the undercover police officer went back to the massage business and again spoke with Zhang, who showed him to a room and offered sex acts in exchange for money.
A couple days later, police executed a search warrant at the business and found a copy of Zhang's massage therapist license.
Zhang was charged with a felony count of prostitution and related offenses and one misdemeanor count of criminal attempt to commit prostitution and related offenses.
Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 5 before District Judge Keith Albright.
