OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) -- She wants to stay anonymous, but an Omaha woman says she was inappropriately touched at a metro massage parlor. She booked a massage at Wonder Foot Spa April 4th. An email confirms the appointment and shows her masseur was supposed to be the owner, Jenny Lin. But instead of Lin, this first time client says a man was there to give her a massage.
At the time, she didn't think anything of it.
"Everything was OK until he did two long right down my back and went straight down the sheet right over my butt. Took the sheet with him so I was exposed,” said the woman.
The victim says she pulled the sheet back up and told the masseur she was not ok with what he did, but she says the masseur just laughed it off continuing the massage. A few minutes later, she said there was more inappropriate touching.
"He started to move, like the palm of his hand like it was a tool, and using his fingers moved on the sides of my breasts. So this when I have some major red flags going up, I am very uncomfortable with it. About that time my wheels are turning, he actually got up onto the table. Both knees on the table and straddled me. I guess similar to the way you to give a significant other massage at home,” she said.
At this point the victim ended the massage, feeling so distraught she paid for part of the services and left.
The victim's mother called the spa later that day asking for the manager but after the discussion, decided to report the incident to state regulators and went and filed a police report.
WOWT 6 News' Mike McKnight and Erin Murray took that police report to the owner, Jenny Lin, asking for answers.
Murray asked, “Who is the person that gave her a massage?”
“I don't know. Ok?” Lin replied.
McKnight asked, “Did someone give her a massage?”
“I don't know,” Lin replied.
The owner confirmed the victim did have an appointment that day; she showed WOWT 6 News the appointment book.
Lin also confirmed there was a male employee named peter in the spa that day, but Lin insists he was just watching the phone while she went to the bank.
"On the fourth when you went to the bank, he was watching the phone, did he cover that appointment at 11:30?” Murray asked.
I don't know, I don't remember," Lin replied.
The victim does remember and she hopes an on-going police investigation will erase any doubt about who did this to her.
“I left there really distraught, my concern was other people immediately. And then after it kind of stinks and you just feel really violated,” she said.
Hoping her story will bring awareness and justice. This victim's case is still open but our investigation found actions already been taken against the massage parlor.
