words with friends chat problems?

The issue with the words with friends chat is not with your ipad or Iphone or android. The problem is that for five days now the "experts" at "words with" cant figure out what the issue is. That says a lot to me about the apps they are building and selling to us.
JanetM I understand your perspective but when you have thousands and thousands of people buying your app to stop all the ads they want a product that works and does not have issues for five days or more. being an IT engineer myself I absolutely understand IT fails and will have some down time but it is my opinion that selling a product that does not function properly for five days is unexceptable. This issue does not infuriate me or have me up nights but I have a lot of friends that I communicate with during our games.

Selling? Really? Many are free, and you don't have to pay for Words with Friends unless you choose to buy the version you pay for. It's technology... things go wrong. I don't know why you find this so upsetting. The fact that there is a glitch, tells you (us) nothing about the apps they are creating and either giving us for free or selling to us. These sorts of things happen. It's not that it's a poor quality product. Zynga is working on the problem. 5 days is not a big deal, nor is the fact that chat isn't working. I've had the problem too, but I just don't see it as a serious issue.
