I had a client referred to me and I'll be seeing him tomorrow. He has had pain in his low back, hip and groin area. He's been to the doctor several times and has had a MRI and most recently a bone scan. When I asked him what he's been diagnosed with, he said they think there's a fracture at the bottom of his spine and it's a common fracture for an athlete, but they're not sure and have not given an official diagnosis as they're still trying to confirm the fracture and if that's confirmed, how long it's been there.
This said, he's in pain and wants me to help him. I'm confident I can do LDT (Lymphatic) around the area in his lower back area and inguinals, but I'm not sure what else I can do beyond that without a diagnosis or more input from a physician. I'm not comfortable with any pressure, deep tissue around the area. Does anyone have any more input that may help in this situation? Things I should or definately should not do?
Thanks!
