I tell you that Brynn Winters should run for Mayor. I'd move to TO just to vote for her. I haven't seen her in months.

Where I am in Hamilton, we're not any better/worse off politician wise. They can't even get their shit together regarding a new stadium and will probably lose that venture and the Tiger Cats.

Rob Ford in his tenure as councillor has put his foot in his mouth many times:

1. HIV/AIDS/Addicts get what they deserve.
2. Cyclists gets hit; it's their fault.
3. Homeless people, my constituents do not want shelters or group homes in our ward.
4. If he is such a shrewd businessman, and his family business is running so well. Why doesn't he pull an Lee Iococco and work for a nominal fee. In order to get Toronto going in the right fiscal direction, lead by example.

Smitherman and all the others are not going to do any better or worse.

1) Not all who contract HIV/AIDS are at fault (some got it via tainted blood) but if you got it via intravenous drug use? Yeah, it's your fault. IMO if you DID get it via sharing a needle? You should be taken out to a field and left to die. EOS.
2) Well, cyclists ARE way more maneuverable than cars, not saying it is always their fault but have you SEEN the way some of them ride? Zipping in and out of traffic, riding the white line, riding on the sidewalk then the road then the sidewalk.....
3) Homeless shelters/Constituents: so why do businesses/home owners have to deal with the dregs of society? Places like this bring their property values down.
4) Maybe he's not doing as well as Iococcoapuffs?

I don't really care cuz I don't live there anymore but I tell you, after miller and his pandering to the unions and the fiscal mess he made? Even a crook would be better. I mean, he forced his office staff to take a pay freeze then voted himself a nice comfy raise so that he could be "on par with other international cities". Total BS IMO.
