Your experiences introducing cats?

Sorry there is so many question but I' just trying to see how likely it is that my 6 year old spayed female cat will get along with a male kitten. Please tell me about your experiences introducing cats.
How did you introduce your cats?
What were their ages?
Male or female?
Have they lived with other cats before?
what was their reaction?
How long did it take for your cats to tolerate one another?
how long did It take for your cats to be friends?

Also, I know this is unrelated and you don't have to answer it if you don't want to but how much total did it cost for the shots that kittens are supposed to get every 3 weeks for 4 months?

i had a male cat that was like four or five months old and i had a kitten that was like four weeks or so and i had to bottle feed the kitten. I sat the kitten on the bed and the older cat sniffed and they hissed at each other for like a week and now they are best friends it just takes time. Good Luck
