Zona Blue...revisited

Zona Blue was one of my destinations a couple days after the superbowl. It was good to see Eddie again briefly and see the completed new cigar bar in the front. almost too nice to smoke in it appeared to me.

It was nice to see that business was still brisk. We need an MP of this level in Panama City. It would be very successful. (also a Sportsmens Lodge for that matter) I first walked in around 11AM, but there were only 4 or 5 girls in the bar at that time and none of the stars that I remembered or have read about here...so I continued my walking tour including the used book store "Moras" that to me is one of the unheralded attractions for cheap used books in English in San Jose. After picking up a couple paperbacks for $2 each...I headed back down the hill to ZB...and this time, more girls were hanging out. Had a drink with the boys while scoping out the situation. I still have a little problem with the drink prices at ZB. About $7 for a Centenario local rum on the rocks...made me grimace...and I'm really not a tight wad. I guess maybe the idea is they dont want guys just coming in to get drunk...but to go with the girls. If this is the case, I can understand...and just have to come there without a thirst.

While I was wanting to be adventurous and check out a new provider there...I was really more looking forward to a genuine massage as much as anything else...and sure enough...there sat Paola who probably is the "mother hen" of all the girls there...but over the years has been a consistant reliable provider...both massage and otherwise. And she has shed some pounds from some overage she had a couple years ago...so I just went with the sure thing and was not disappointed at all.

One of the features I have always enjoyed at ZB and New Fantasy years ago was the steam room. I usually like starting there to unwind and get loosened up from lifes stresses and trevails. Unfortunately the steam room was not functional this day or the last time I was there. THe dry sauna was not hot at all, and a couple girls were "napping" with their clothes on in there. It was nice sitting and chatting with all three...but it was a waste of time for what I was trying to do there...so a two minute lukewarm sauna was all that was available. Oh well...that meant a longer massage and otherwise.

As I have said on other threads over the years, I would hate to be in the business of maintaining a "stable" of pro girls in such an establishment. I really believe the service has gone down as well as the quality of these girls bodies and attitudes all over town. You have to sort through more rocks to get to the diamonds these days. But, even with my above hopefully constructive criticisms, I still believe ZB has the best value for the buck. $46 with CRT discount for an hour with the girl of your choice in a very secure environment...well, that is a main reason I dont do Delrey girls any more.

I agree with your comments about the quality of the girls there. I was there several days this past week and only Naomi was up to the experience that I expect from Zona Blue. I was there on Tuesday and went back twice with 2 different girls (one I had been with once before and one newbie). Both times, a half-ass massage and nothing else. With the new girl, I actually told her we were done about 15 minutes in -- I would rather sit at the bar. How can you go back twice at Zona Blue and not even see the girls naked? I know -- negotiate up front -- but when you get comfortable with a place and get consistently high quality, you don't feel the need to any longer. Went back on Wednesday, stayed for 2 hours, and none of the girls even seemed slightly interested. Maybe everybody was worn out from Super Bowl weekend I saved a lot of money, but I would rather have spent it.

I will have my armor on when I go into Zona Blue from now on.

Daisy is great - not the best looking chica but a real sweetheart. During my last trip, I walked into ZB my first day and she put on Willie Nelson's "To all the girls I've loved before." and told me the song was for me. Daisy is a real jewel. Always greets me with a smile and a hug. Laughingly refers to me as her next ex :shock: She is always a good source of information on the women.

On my trip over new Year's I was disappointed with the ZB. Few lady's available (usually 3-4), and those that were seemed very dis-interested in being there (not only towards me). I have always been a big proponent of the ZB, and would still tell new members to go there. Eddie is a good man, that I know he tries hard. IMHO with the $20 per ahora, per girl, for those staying there, better options are at the Tico MPs for those of us who aren't staying in the rooms. Out of the ten days I was in town, and stopped in all ten days, I sessioned there twice. Both were very good sessions though. I still drop by every day that Daisy is working, when I am in CR, to say hello to her, and on the off chance that one of the 3-4 available ladies will act even remotely interested in me.

For those of us who are Daisy fans, she asked me to bring her a shot glass with something from California on it. A nice gesture from those who appreciate her would be to bring her a shot glass from your state when you are in CR. I'm sure that she would be very greatful.

I will continue to stop by ZB, but find for me there are better options for women, at this time, elsewhere.

I agree with all of you guys on Daisy. She is a real asset to ZB, IMO. Many times I have walked into the bar, there being few chicas available at the time and no buddies drinking. But Daisy is there with her smile and warm greeting, and that welcome helps me to chill out and sit and chat with her for a while. Before you know it, the chicas begin warming up and and it's off to the races.

You would think that it would take a lot to get a bartender in a whorehouse to blush, but in late January, I saw Daisy blush big time. One thing I've learned is that a few of the best looking girls there can't really have sex more than around four times a day... or don't care to work harder than that if they are being tipped well. Hey, 150 a day is still pretty darn good money for them. So some of them limit what they do and how often they do it to the guys that turn them on that day or that they know tip exceptionally well. You can be sure I didn't tip a penny on that day. I generally tip around $15 - $20, $30 if it's exceptional, but I suppose they don't know that if it's the first time I'm with them. Don't know how much the girls talk amongst themselves as an entire group. I have noticed that there are some that never seem to be around some others.

Tman I was always one step behind you. However with Paola I was one step ahead. I agree about her. She was my first as soon as I got to CR. I actually had to come back as she wasn't around or busy in the morning. She is what Zona Blue is supposed to be.

Always, always it was a half hour massage and then a flip for the good stuff. Plus depending how long the next half hour took, it didn't matter. You had them for an hour. Now there are stories of guys going for 10 minutes. What happened????
