I've done a bit of a search, but no real "clear cut" answer found when it comes to tipping an INDY MA.
I know it's typical to tip based on the services recieved and how happy you are with them, but since 100% of the session money is going straight to the MA, is it still expected?
Just curious.......Do you tip before or after a session? I noticed in another thread that some of you said that tipping will get you better service, but aren't you suppose tip afterwards based on the service?
Also what is an average amount to tip?
I was being sarcastic babe. But if ur going to places giving u rushed, disinterested service, u are going to the wrong spas! Most spas with a receptionist keep an eye on time, certain spas also train their staff about rushing/the value the client expects/quality control. Sweeety is talking about...

If you go to have a massage where one massage therapist works alone and has her own studio are you expected to tip? If so- how much would be reasonable or generous? Thank you!
I received a gift card to cover a massage for 1.5 hours, but it doesn't include gratuity. How much of a tip should I give?
Forgot to mention it covers $55

I recently had a 30 minute, full body "Mall Massage" which was done in a separate room away from Mall spectators. There was no disrobing or oils used, as in spa-type massages. The cost was $28. What should the tip % have been?
