You are a sad man marc26, Thailand isn't the same as your home, the ladies here are mostly very nice people, its not 100% boom boom for money, you are too blunt with your opinion. you pay for their company, what you do after leaving the bar is up to the two (or more) involved. Many many guys just pay for taking the girl away from the bar for a few hours, so I see them more like escorts, very often theres no sex involved at all.
I don't want to offend you, just soften your attitude a little.

While I wouldn't pay 1000 baht in a beer bar for a BF, it (IMO) would be a better choice than loading up on 10 additional beers .... in which case a BG or FL at best would become a sleeping partner.

Not only did he lose the customer but the girl walked out too.So now his best girl has gone for good.h:

I believe the daytime Coyotes price drops in the afternoon to 600THB at some point. It is the night shift Coyotes you need to wait until after midnight.

You may not see them in bars in a tourist area but on the outskirts and in the 'burbs the Thai bars are everywhere.
I have stayed in a couple of hotels on the outskirts of Patong and had to move as the Thai Kareoke bars behind them were going flat out at 5 am!!
And I know, for a fact, that girls can be had in those bars!!

I don't know what regular ST rates are. Soi 6 was usually 700THB( I really did not haggle) and 300 THB for room. To take out before 8pm was 1,000 THB and after 500 THB.

6 years ago, when 1st went to Patong, the BF was 200 Baht in all the beer bars, except ones with froneforum.xxxe on Bangla, where they paid higher rent, and charged 300.

It only went up to 300 a couple of years ago, and now they are talking about 500 or more.

Insane! But, as said, if someone is willing to pay it....., why not? I can't blame the bar owners for charging it, if the punters will willingly give them that much. It's the "greater fool" principle in operation.

Highly unlikely that I'll be paying it, when next in Patong. I work hard for my money, and am not readily inclined to throw it away. Looks like I'll be doing my shopping at Tai Pan or Tiger disco. After the bars let out, it is all the same girls there, anyway!
