Sounds like many a relationship Oh_Henry, only difference is that you met this girl at an MP. There are many a gold digger hanging out in bars who are up to the same stuff. But be glad that you still have both your kidneys. [ An urban legend but WTF you get my point I think ] This is not a flame but sort of a balance to the overwhelming support, I guess most wince at this like they would if they saw you get kicked in the balls, and rightfully so.

Guys do this kinda shit all the time too. I guess we have all done it to some degree or another (dumped someone, crushed their heart).

You sound like you've got a good head on your shoulders, and you have learned a lot about yourself. Just remember that love is a chemical response that nature has wired us up for and like any good drug it can fuck us up like a bad case of night time monkey agonies.

O_Henry, I recommend that you see a therapist. I have been to one over the years and must say that it definitely helped me. My company provides this service with discretion. Maybe yours does too. I carried alot of emotional baggage and you seem to have as well.

try to separate the emotional aspect from the hobby...

....put it in this context...how many times have you slept with her...without paying her....more than 20 to 25 times....it works out to be $200 to $250 per session for the $5000 you gave her....which is around the market rate....plus it sounds like she spent the night many times(that's like $1500 for an SP)...

....so you got screwed emotionally....but it sounds like you got a good bang for the dollar.....but word of advice....run to your doctor and swallow a bottle of 'cipro' or something....

It sounds like you didn't want to hear the warning bells, Oh Henry.

As you are aware it seems there were good parts to the experience as well as the bad. You can't fully appreciate the highs in life without the lows, unfortunately the reverse also applies. If we never took chances in life, it would be boring and we'd never get anywhere. I'd chalk it up to another experience.

I can't possibly say how I would have dealt with it, if I were in your situation as I tend to have a cynical side, but that needy empathetic side can be very powerful. I think we believe what we want to believe in the end ...

Thanks for sharing. We leave ourselves vulnerable when we "expose" ourselves. That took guts ...

Wrong Hole - Technically you should be correct, however my suspicions started to be raised when every time we met subsequently, the issue of her loosing money by taking time out of her work schedule got raised. I finally agreed to start paying her every time I saw her, but never had another hotel session since.

Good point..........anyone saying it can't happen to them needs to think twice. I'm not talking about the money but getting caught up.

Just imagine your favourite MPA asking to go out with you for dinner and wanting to start a relationship with you. Come on, tell me you guys would be quick to turn that shit down. On the other hand, if she was just an MPA asking for some cash, I might release on her forehead .

What surprises me most Henry is that fact that you say you still love her? You need to get over that, fast.
