I agree that it's a nice change to read of someone's adventure that is not all about sex. It's great reading about your time in patong and the people you met there. Everybody's time spent there are different and our experiences varies, I think we all can learn something from these anecdotes.

Yeps I have rang the bell alot. But I did everytime in the same bar where I have an agreement with the boss. We get an agreement that I rang the bell and pay 500 bath for the whole bunch sitting there drinking and working. Then some of the customers think I`m crazy but I tell them it`s not that expensive (for me at least). And sooner or later there are some guys falling for this sceme that was put up and unluckely for them they have to pay to full amount. I know it`s not nice of me but hey I help a friend and she provides me with cheap booze for the night.

Sounds familiar mate....I've got the same agreement with two bars in Soi Gonzn a good night we have the bell go off at least 10 times...then again, with the amount of drinks I've had I could be off a little. :cheers:

Grubs good.. Staff are nice (Rocket is top fella) and the owner is sound also (good pool parties at his villa)... We were using as a handy (quality) ST hotel but now its high season thats got tougher..

Hello Nicke. I spoke with Anders and Jay last week. They will be in Thailand in a few days. I am sure they will stop by the MTB when they get to Patong Beach and show off their new baby.

Werwolf....I think one is called Lucky Bar..it's the first bar on your left as you walk into Gonzo...and the other is half way down on your right side called Blackcat or something like that...I could be wrong but not far off....most nights I was off my face... mg:
