When are these governments going to let people live their own lives and stop trying to rule what we do. I agree trying to discourage kids from smoking, drinkinkng excessively etc. But everything we do is starting to be over governed. In Australia no Cigarette advertising. Alcohol pricing going up by legislation every 6 months for example on beer $1.00 per 24 375ml bottle carton, and smokes 50 cents per packet. Thats every 6 months. The people these governments are cashing in on is not the kids who start smoking and drinking its the ones who already do!!!. Just another way of taking a further tax dollar. Same as the bulls*it we are fed about the rising cost of petrol. Iraq war, Threats to the USA, etc. Just more revenue for the government as we can't prove otherwise. Yes advertising these products might encourage some to use their product for the first time but most kids are now educated enough to know these products are not good for them not like us 40 somethings born in the 60's as the pitfalls of use where not readilly available for our knowledge. Why can't they just get over themselves and stop being driven by the USA ideals as most of the politicians do the same as us except we pay their wages. They do not pay ours. Maybe we should have a ban on politicians smoking or drinking or they are fired.
