For all those of you who like a glass of wine or two; Wine Coonections in Rawai is offering a Saturday Special from 5pm to 7pm

450 baht for a plate of Spanish tapas food and all the red or white wine you can drink......: : :

Not a bad way to kick of your Saturday night if you ask me.

I will certainally be having a go.

sounds a good deal. i remember the "cathouse" happy hour at nana bkk. 200 baht and all the chang you can drink in 4 hours! jesus...that got messy!

We are running a 19" diameter high pressure Rosso pipeline down to Rawai to run parallel with the new 4 lane motorway through the new mountain tunnels.

It may take some time but in the meantime we are building a Rosso resevoir here in Kamalalala. :

It's actually in Chalong on Chaofa Rd East (from the circle, the road that goes to phuket town and not Central). Same plaza as K. Woody's sandwich shop.

I'm sorry to say Denpah but 19" dia. is a none standard size for pipework (I'm a piping engineer) so I sugest you move up to a 20" dia - or (god forbid) down to an 18" dia. ..........555555555555555555555 - good drinking anyway ..... : :

the Denver/Dodger rosso actually tastes like that cherry cheer cordial my dad used to buy me with a packet of crisps whislt I waited for him in the car whilst he spent several hours in the pub with his mates after my soccer games when I was a kid Marco...I would actually welcome the wine a bit more "grisly"

N1, I drank some mighty reds in South America while I was there a few months ago. Especially Chilean wines - exceptionally good and exceptionally cheap. Even when I got to Argentina, would search out for the Chilean wines to eat with my HUGE STEAKS, although the native Malbec in ARgentina was pretty good. Drank mostly beer in Brazil, the hops and yeast helped keep my jaw off the floor...

I used to think that.

I remember going on a seforum.xxx do as best man for my mate from Glasgow and we went to Whitley Bay and an Indian Meal and I ordered a glass of red wine and all the guys from Glasgow were looking at me like I was a fagott or something; but then we moved tp Becks beer so that was Ok and they were a good set of mates.

I thought as well that the Aussies would be the same with thier view of drinking wine (only for sheila's etc) but most Aussie I know will drink wine beer or spirits with no bother. Most actually really get into the wine and there are some big guys from Aus in LOS.

Talbotman I can't answer your question but just wonder about your security? and I dont mean your garden fence

Americans can drink wine no problem, it just depends on the setting. If you were sitting down to a meal at an Indian restaurant, it would be no big deal. If you were having a cookout and watching the game, it would be weird. Everything has its time and place.
