Biotone Blech!

I have very durable skin. It's rare for me to break out, and others catch poison ivy three times faster than I do.

When I was in massage school we used Biotone. Over 80% of the class broke out the first week, myself included. I then started using "The Bodyshop" Oils which are hypoallergenic. Whoever I worked on in school from then on never broke out. By the end of the second marking period, the class stopped using Biotone all together. Noone ever broke out again.

Yes. I was also quite suprized when my class broke out the same way. I was amazed that people that would not react to anything else strongly acted up here in my classes and in clinic.

I think that is why Miosage and Grip were so popular at my school and clinic. I know there are other good lines out there as well, but those were always the top two in our school.

Allergic Reaction to Biotone

I have been a massage therapist for 23 years and have used many oils ,creams and lotions over the years. I've used Biotone Advanced Therapy Lotion exclusiveley for 7 or 8 years without incident. In the last few months I've developed extreme dermatitis on my hands.I've noticed that the lotion seems to pour out of the bottle more loosely. Have they changed the formula. Has anyone else had this problem.
