AMP/SPA Question for you veterans

I haven't been to an AMP or SPA in a long long time. But I see these reviews and I have been wondering about something. Maybe some of you know the answer.

When you pay the door fee (lets say it is $60) and then you go back and get your massage/fun and tip the girl (lets say it is $40).

Does the owner get the $60 and the girl only get $40? Or do you think the owner gives any of the door fee to the girl? I was just wondering because if a girl is only making $40 for a massage and HJ for an hour, that isn't much money for them, unless they are doing 5-10 a day.

I've seen some reviews on here where the guy only tipped $10 or $20 for the massage. Surely that doesn't mean the girl only made $10 or $20? Does it?

Usually the girls gets a perceneforum.xxxe of the door fee.
But the tip in the rooms are usually all theirs.

Yeah my ex girlfriend owned a few of them at one time, and the door fee was 60 . . . girl got 20 plus all of the tips. . .

The general arrangement is that the "massage girl" gets 40% to 50% of the door fee and keeps all of her tips. Guys who only tip $10 or $20 are considered cheap by the girls and don't often get good service on return visits.

Damn.. So the house only gets like $30-$40 a head? How do these places make any money, unless 20 guys a day are walking in.

You also need to consider that $60/hour are the "cheap seats" joints ... most up-scale places charge $75 to $80 per hour and lots of clients book 1.5 hour massages. I normally do a 1.5 hr massage and pay $110 to $120.

Sometimes they don't make any money but on the books they are rolling in the doe. Some of them are used as legitimate businesses to launder money from illegal income from other sources.

I understand what you meant. But to me a massage place full of hookers doesn't seem to be a legitimate business.

I miss Los Angeles. When I lived there, their was a place on Sunset called NiteCap and it was a SPA but for women. It was only open from 9p to 6am and inside was about 10 guys that all had massage licenses. Drunk and horny women would get out of the clubs and stop in for a Night Cap massage before going home. Happy endings were guaranteed and it was a flat $120 to come in and it was split 50/50 between the house and the guy.

Only in LA would something like that work I guess.

It's on the books as a legitimate business, license and all. They have to do something with all the money from drugs, extortion, racketeering, etc.

LOL! TFF! Talk about someone who has no clue WTF he's talking about. A fertile imagination from a fool! LOL!

Any massage shop involved in any way with drugs, extortion, racketeering. etc. that LAST thing they want to have is a license ... that's just a notice to the State that they exist and an invitation for the State to do inspections.

Quite the opposite, most of the unlicensed shops are involved in the human trafficking, sex slave trade and prostitution.

10 customers a day average is 12K/month. . . overhead is usually around 4K - 5K. . She was making 6K monthly average and had multiple locations. . . The girls are the ones making the real money though. . . Assuming they provide fs they are making 15K - 20K monthly if they are good. They move around to many different cities some prefer east coast some prefer west coast. . . but even with down time the good ones are making 150K/year tax free. . .

DO you remember E. Lowenstein , he made a ton of cash from the spas and laundered the cash through his adult bookstores. when he got popped , he had , I think a million cash and alot of luxury items, million dollar house. the police said they think he had $20M but they never seemed to have found it!!!! lol!!!

Okay Sticky I am not saying the spa is selling drugs, etc. It's the people that own some of the spas that are involved in these things and us their legitimate businesses to clean their dirty money.

Since you know so much about spas maybe you can tell us what got a number of spa's closed down in Houston a few years back.

I dated Julie, who ran the infamous Triola house, off and on for a few years. One of her girls (who tried to get me into the business) told me that she was pulling in 10K a week (as the owner, with 2 or 3 locations).
