Check out Solution Bar on the road,near club med, just past where all the girly bars used to be before they were knocked down,busy little place with great staff,pool table ,good tunes,sport on tv's etc,well worth checking out imo.

Not too sure to be honest,i was last in kata in october,but heard that there is a shopping centre going in around that area with Mcdonalds,KFC etc,also opposite Solution they were starting to build a small shopping plaza,i'm guessing that must be nearly complete by now,either way,it's all good for the area.

not sure what you mean,the girly bars are a dying breed,take a look at the new 'girly bar' zone in kata now,it's dead,the majority of customers now in that area are families couples etc,and obviously a few lads out looking for girls,whatever is getting built round that area is only a good thing,hence why mcdonalds kfc,wine connection etc are moving into that area,and the girly bars have been isolated to one section.Bar/guesthouse/restraunt owners etc are extremely happy with whats happening.

Update on prices
Looks like the bf is 300-400 in karon and the going lt is 1500

And a starfish alert
Ta (tall slim long hair no boobs multicolor fingernails) from first bar left side from karon circle likes to kiss is as wet as the moeson below but in bed bit of a starfish and no bj but give her a break I think (smell) stomach problems so likely to go away and she might behave differently

Karon has a relatively new soi now that most people miss. Lots of horizontal gash.

Its still famous for catching KT action as they line the beach raod from midnight onwards.

The place is caught between trying to be a family location whilst accommodating straying husbands.
