I went shopping earlier to try to find some new, comfortable black workout pants for work. The only pants I found at my two favorite inexpensive stores were TIGHT, reflective-striped, booty-hugging bootleg things (yes, I tried them all on.... boom chicka boom).

Someone mentioned in an older thread that they wear scrubs when they go to clients' homes. I LOVE this idea, outcall or no outcall!

I googled around to see if I could find any reasonable places to buy scrubs in the Los Angeles area, and came across Reina Uniforms: http://www.reinauniforms.com/. I love a lot of their styles! I'm going to aim for something pretty boring and less fitted, but lots to keep in mind for the future

I got the cutest top...
A v-neck aqua top with black stretchy sides...I paired it with some black flare leg scrub bottoms (they are called huggers but are not tight - they are loose elastic waist scrub pants).
I got a couple other great looking tops that fit and look better than standard scrubs (which I think can look sloppy and boxy on me - even when new).
The styles and colors are much better than they used to be.
You can really put together a professional looking, comfortable, easy care uniform. Ah - but the pricing is higher on the more fashionable items - everything I like is $18-28 per piece. Back in the day I used to get scrubs for about $9 per.

A few of styles on the above site offer embroidery services - you can add your business name too!

Thanks for the link. I looked over their scrubs and they aren't like anything I've seen on the majority of websites out there. I am providing the link to someone I know who is looking for something a "little different" that the average variety - she is a Sports Performance Enhancement person and the http://www.reinauniforms.com/1715.html looks to be right up her alley.

I have been *loving* my Cherokee Flexibles scrubs! I got them from a local store, and our logo is embroidered on all but one of them (I have 4 tops).

Have a question, maybe someone here can help me figure out the answer:

I've noticed that the top I wear (thus wash) the most, the stretchy sides have gotten a bit "stretched out". It's not really noticeable until I wear the one I wear the *least*, which still looks crisp. Think that's a problem? Will be in the future? I'm wondering how far I can let it go before it'll start to look "unprofessional".

Also, while I *love* many of their colors/styles, I have two things against them: 1) only certain colors (which are *always* prints) come in 100% cotton. I dislike polyester. 2) I'd love it if *someone*, somewhere, had tops like this for men, or at least that coordinated with some really good men's scrub tops. I would really like for us to both match and be comfortable. It looks a little odd when we show up somewhere and he is wearing muted tan and olive green and I am in black with bright pink and lavender and such. I am quite certain that if someone had this idea of doing flexible sides for men's tops too, it might be a good seller. And keep my not-average-shaped hubby from looking like he's in a tent!

I am quite certain that if someone had this idea of doing flexible sides for men's tops too, it might be a good seller. And keep my not-average-shaped hubby from looking like he's in a tent!

I love all scrubs "Cherokee". Unfortunately for me, my rib cage/shoulders are too wide and I can't wear them - because they are too tight, or too loose. And, in both cases, the flex doesn't flex in the right place for the way I work.

I'd love it if they would come out with a few varieties on the cut! And, I agree that men may really enjoy them as well, if the company would make some for them.

Maybe they'll read these posts and consider it.
