Fell off the flattner last night. Forgot to put the side stand down and started to get off and twank, it landed on top of me. Three BG's pulled me from under it and stood it back up!!!!! Bless 'em.

OK, so third sortie of the mission last night. I went into the bar around 9:30PM, but this time around was a little better. A mutual friend of the owner met me there with his GF, a former BG at the bar from a couple of years back. After a couple of hours chit-chatting, we (two couples and myself) decided to visit one of the girl's friends at another bar. 5th wheel was I...

After getting there, I realized that we were at the mouth of Soi Sea Pearl. An obscure little soi north of Bangla. Well, on this soi is an obscure bar called the Drop Inn Bar, owned by the same couple that runs the Drop Inn Guesthouse on Nanai Road. I had "hooked up" with the owner's sister (who was visiting from Bangkok) the last time I was in Patong, so I excused myself to make a little saunter over and say hello to any familiar faces. Had a beer and as I was paying the bill, Denver plops down just opposite the counter from me. Next, out of the darkness comes Mai Chob, then Dodger and Duncan. Patong is a small world...

We had a round of beers and left. They, on their way to Bangla, and me to re-visit Group 1. Exiting Soi Sea Pearl, and Group 1 was already gone! So, I got the invite to go to Mai Thai Bar with the Kamala gang and we piled into the DodgeMobile. 5th wheel again was I...

Had a couple of beers in MTB, and Soi Eric seemed to be doing a great trade last night. Perhaps, people getting a night out before the bar closing tonight. Then, we were off to the bar that I was looking after on Sea Dragon. One beer there, next stop Suzy Wong's, a place I hadn't been to in a couple of years. Not a bad line up in there. I remember spotting a girl in there that I will have to make a visit to see in the future. The rest of the night was kind of lost while backing up the memory disks overnight. I hope I didn't accidently walk out on any bills...:erf:

Note to self: Eat some dinner before going out.

I'll probably make the 4th and last sortie in a couple of days. The owner returns from Surin on the 23rd. All in all, sitting in place for a bar owner is not all that much. Unless, something extraordinary happens, I will probably not make an update.

I should think your trip to the babysitting bar last night was better because they are relieved that you've only dropped in 3 times in 9 days
