If you want to work in a bar you'd need to find yourself a job at a high-end place or perhaps a resort. There are foreigners working as bar managers and so on. There are also a few cocktail waiters, but you'd have to be very good at that. Otherwise, there's little hope of working in a bar legally and even less chance of making any money.

Or you can hang out in Thailand for awhile then head to Cambodia to work...
