Popped along to Nangs tonight for the Cheeseburger Special with extra cheese and she had the bar open!

While I was waiting for my Burgery treat a MIB came along on his Honda and started waving at her. She went out to see him and came back and straight into the kitchen. The four of us having a discreet Tiger at the bar had placed our bottles behind the bar and started whistling...............as you do.

Ten minutes later and just before my Burger was ready, another cop car turned up with his red lights flashing, the door opened and out popped a MIB and dropped a pizza off to Nang before heading back towards the Police station!!!!

Weird...................I don't get it me!

While there you can flog some drink - o - bags! lots of tourists look like they need a beer.... Maybe it will help the hags/LB's get some business!!!

I always ensure they are kept in business Sarsbuk but there is no harm in trying to flog 'em a 'Drink-O-Bag' - They can be filled with lady drinks and a bigger mouth piece fitted just for the girlies!

I went to see some friends inside a resort at Bang tao beach today and had some swimming there with Nathalie, around the pool/bar people was drinking beer and drinks as normal.

So resorts seems to be good place to be during alcohol ban days.

Seems to be very lax in enforcement in the Chalong/Rawaii area. Saw lots of bottles on tables.

Can anyone offer confirmation of when alcohol can be bought/sold this weekend? Is it Friday to Sunday midnight, Friday to Saturday midnight or Friday to Saturday 6p.m.? Thanks

Thought that myself...at least half the bars I passed were serving in Rawai/Nai Harn.

On another note, anyone notice all the Police on the streets in Chalong/Kata/Rawai ?? From at least Wat Chalong south on CF West, every 2-300 yards were police on both sides of the road, including over the hill to Kata.

we got held up with this in Chalong yesterday ..... the police line the roads and traffic is stopped then a Royal Family member passed through with multiple escorts and then we are all allowed through again. Been stopped by a couple of these in the last few weeks.

Same Same Kamalalala apparently I was told last night at a restaurant I can't remember the name of, so will call it 'No Name' restaurant.

At 1750 cold bottles of beer 'tops attached' can be put on the table.

At 1753 Music can be played and bottle openers put on the table.

At 1755 Peanuts are allowed to be put in little dishes. No nibbling though!

At 1756 You can handle, but not use the bottle opener.

At 1758 A Police car will drive past the bar with a MIB moving his finger from side to side and tutting!

At 1759 Bar owner is allowed to put whistle in mouth.

At 1800 Whistle to be blown vigorously, Bottles opened.

1801 Order next beer.

I must say i was caught by it last night in Bangers, was in New Wave around 6.30pm, finished my first beer and requested another one, was told no, i thought she meant no corona left, but she meant no beer at all, and it seems to be in full force as i have not seen a beer all day(apart from the 8 i had in my fridge for breakfast).

All in all a pretty boring time in Bangers for me with no beer.

Bars still closed.. shower and shave then on to MTB, Dingos, HB and Down Under.. not necessarily in that order. Think Ill do HB first.. never seem to reach that particular waering hole....
