I have a friend who is marrying a bangla "bartender" soon in LOS. He's known her for 6 months and seen her on three trips to LOS. She claims to never have been in the game. He plans to bring her out here. I can't see the attraction for a young thai girl (23) to leave her family, friends, and the only life she knows, to come and live in suburban australia. Also, given that she parties 7 nights a week on bangla, suburban australia is a far cry from what she's used to.

Can anyone see a future here?

Eventhough a high % of girls working on bangla are working girls, of course some are not. 6 months, 3 visits, does not seem long enough to get to know her in my view but each to their own.

I know of a few mamasan/bartenders that have never been in the P4P scene and don't engage in it at all. But the vast majority still have their hand in the game whenever they deem fit.

Just arrived in Patong the other day and ended up at Honky Tonk bar right across from Kangaroo bar. There was a bartender there absolutely gorgeous but didn't find out if she was available, gonna check back again this weekend and see. Met the owner, really nice guy and had a few drinks with him. Nice bar and friendly (not pushy) girls there

Re Honky Tonk - Yeah nice bar and good location. Just recently opened/changed ownership. They were doing 2 for 1 cocktails back in January. Took a girl from there, memory was hazy as was moa mak mak but believe she was attractive!
