Belleville is quite different from Bangkok, right
I haven't been there for a couple of years but it looks like there are many more hookers than before?
30 Euros is a very good deal. I think I never paid that low when I picked up a few around Metro Strasbourg St Denis.
Did you check on the boulevard when you went Rue St Denis?

I had a second punt in Belleville today. Was mostly quoted 40 euros by the Chinese ladies.

Once again, very pleasant, and i wasn't rushed in and out as has been past experience in places like St Denis, Rue Blondel and Rue de Budapest in years gone by.

Virtually all are mature in years (which is fine for me) but there were a few younger ones around too.

A lot seem to get into the massageplanete at the corner of Rue de Belleville and Boulevard de Belleville. I spent a while in there, avoiding the rain and watching the girls go by.

I wasn't expecting much from a wet weekend in Paris, but it might well be worth another trip.

Visiting my oldest daughter in Paris for a few days, so I decided to look up a few of the old haunts.
Rue St Denis and Rue Blondel had a few of the expected matronly types, also a bunch of Chinese ladies in a group, and what looked like a Thai ladyboy in a short leather skirt. Nothing really to take my fancy, and to be honest, even back in the 70's my memories of this area weren't good.

Anyway, being a refugee from Chinatown in Bangkok, I was just in the mood for a Chinese hooker, so I popped on the Metro to Belleville.

What immediately struck me was just how many middle aged Chinese ladies there are working this area. They are not difficult to spot, they are virtually every few yards up the Boulevard de la Villette. I spotted a pretty one and quickly negotoiated 30 Euros. We wandered off to a room a couple of blocks away.

We were met at the door by an extremely pretty Chinese woman, who Straight away I realised I fancied more than my chosen punt.

A quick bit of negotiating with poor French, broken Madarin, English and sign language, and I managed to get the two ladies for 60 euros. I actually got them down to 55, but didn't have change, and felt a bit like a tight-arsed tourist.

I'm not a frequent visitor to Paris, although I was in my youth, but I found this a very pleasant experience and not bad value for money.
