Thanks fellas for backing me up on this one. She seriously needs to work on her inter-personal skills. If she is that bad on the phone with someone who is being a perfect gentleman, I can't imagine her being much better in person. As Delroy said, you can feel it in your gut. Similar experience. I called on two occasions and on both she had a nasty, almost hostile phone manner.
The alarm bells in my gut were ringing loud so I didn't setup an appointment.

I don't want to generalize (nah fukit, I do), but I have found that American massage providers sometimes have a nasty edge
that others don't have. I'm an RMP fan, and I adore Tallulah, so clearly I'm not looking for anyone to suck up to me.

On those rare occasions when I feel uncomfortable by someone's phone manner, I listen to my gut, and I never regret it.

No...sorry Mr. Oldergentleman....I beg to differ. I've been doing the massage thing for a little while and I'm always a perfect gentleman and I know exactly what to say and how to conduct myself. I've got tons of reviews and "whitelist" referrals from providers to prove it. I'm definitely not here to start a contentious debate over your and my perception of her, but it would be very hard for her to get a bad vibe from me from an introductory phone call....but I guess anything is possible. I will let her receive more than one review from a new member before I decide if it was "my loss"....thanks.

there actually is a shower in the apartment, but she seemed annoyed when i asked about it and said that she wasn't set up for it and didn't have towels which i thought was shitty especially since she insists on using oil. i would have left, but i really needed the release. will stick with reliable regulars from now on. you can get much better similar service from candlellight.

I have spoken with her and yes there is no shower.....which was a deal breaker for me. She seemed very business-like and a little cold on the phone. I didn't get a good vibe from her, but that doesn't mean she doesn't give good service. I can't speak from experience....

OK, so I'd never had a sensual massage before, but I had high expectations. The Best Massage by Josephine exceeded my expectations and more!

I was staying at a hotel in SoHo, and I decided I needed a treat, just for myself. For a guy from out of town, the New York massage landscape can be a bit intimidating. How do you figure out what's safe, what's nice, what's right for me? I did NOT want an assembly-line massage parlor in a basement somewhere.

So I went online and searched for "body rub" in Greenwich Village. I mean, don't they have zillions of NYU co-eds looking for extra money? When I found a website with an ad for The Best Massage by Josephine, it just looked right. A licensed CTM masseuse. Swedish massage, holistic bodywork, theraputic massage that's sensual. From a beautiful model with a great figure. In a private studio near me.

I called for an appointment, and went the next day. When I saw the place I calmed down immediately, and Josephine herself it a living doll. And "doll" is the right word - she's tiny, and absolutely freaking gorgeous!

My hour-long session began with me face-down on the massage table, enveloped in Eucalyptus aroma (wonderful!). She began with a thin cotton blanket covering me, which she folded over to work on my shoulders, back, legs and hips. Josephine, of course, was wonderfully dishabille. Then I turned over and she moved that thin blanket (really more like a soft sheet) around here and there and there and here until we didn't need it anymore. And that's when I decided I had deprived myself too long of the pleasures of a truly sensual massage.

And one personal note. I'm a small guy, kinda average, a little pudgy (maybe more than a little), and not particularly well-developed in any physical aspect. But on that day, Josephine made me feel like a million bucks. Like I could do anything! I've never felt so big.

She even uses some kind of massage oil (probably water based) that doesn't stain your clothes when you're ready to leave. A wonderful experience from start to finish. A++++++ and highly recommended!

I never ever understand the reasoning behind giving a review with little or no details. What is the point of hiding info? If you don't want to say much, then don't tease. You would then avoid all the requests of more info. If you want to keep what you feel is a gem to yourself, thats great. But, c'mon money don't blame us for asking for more info. I don't want to pay a masseuse heavy loot if she don't want to sit on my face. Can she help me with that? Can you give me that info, at least? lol
